Step 4: Support the Project
Your project is officially underway. You will be working with the company over the next weeks or months. In order to maximize the learning experience, it is important to keep students engaged and moving toward their Final Deliverable(s) and/or Final Presentation to the company. We recommend carving out 30-60 minutes every 1-2 weeks for the company representative(s) to engage with the students and ensure success.
There are two things you need to do to support the project:
- Allow the company to meet with your class regularly. Set up a video conference (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc) for 30-min to 1-hour during one of your regular class times every 1-2 weeks.
- View and respond to comments/questions here. Projects progress quickly! Check the Project Portal a few times per week to see how your students are progressing, questions they have, and opportunities to provide guidance.
